Hi, my name is Kate!

I'm a Senior/Lead Developer currently based in Portland, Oregon. In my 13+ years as a developer,
I've worked across multiple games startups on mobile, web, PC, and console platforms
in both engineering and production roles. My main focus is frontend Unity development,
but I'm also versed in backend development and GAAS.

I started off my development career working in Flash at the UK kids games company Mind Candy,
working on their online world, Moshi Monsters. After that I joined the mobile games start up Gumbug
(later to become Voodoo London) working as a Technical Producer from development to release
on their titles Dustland, Smash Supreme and Notorious 99. After Voodoo, I worked with numerous startups
across the UK helping on a variety of Unity and native iOS projects.

I've always been up for new challenges, so this lead me to co-founding my own company, Lost Native.

While at Lost Native, I worked on our debut game Wild Country - a cross-platform city-building CCG animal adventure!
I've done both Unity client and server-side development using AWS GameLift, developed multiple core mechanics,
utilised HLSL and ShaderGraph to create optimal visual solutions, developed LiveOps and dynamic content systems,
and ported the game to Nintendo Switch.
